Easiest Ways to Celebrate Earth Day Ever

It's Earth Day!

I know, I know, it doesn't look very green out there but let me tell you, there will be trees planted in Corning this Spring... when it comes ;-)

And we'd love for you to take a few minutes right now to do one of two simple things that will help us out!

First, celebrate Earth Day by donating to the Corning Street Tree Project. 

You can do that by clicking on this link to the Community Foundation's donate page. 

Click on the "Choose a fund" dropdown menu and find us under "C" for Corning Street Tree Project Fund.

It costs us about $175 to plant a tree here in Corning. We would love your financial support... consider sponsoring a portion of a tree!

Even $10 will help us get towards our goal of revitalizing and maintaining our city's urban forest! 

The other thing you can do to help us celebrate Earth Day on a practical, local level is to spread the word about our project! 

We need more people in Corning to connect with us! 

So if you have a friend who would love hearing about our project, please tag them in one of our social media posts. Direct them to our website! 

And if you (or someone you know) has space in front of your home for a street tree, please contact us.

We need to find homes for our trees and Tree Allies who will commit to watering their baby tree through it's first year of life.
